Target group major subject Prerequisite is the completion of the B.A. degree with Latin Philology as major in the Giessen BA degree course History and Cultural Studies, or in the Giessen BA degree course in Ancient Cultures or Bachelor degree courses in which Latin Philology is studied with at least 50 CP, or the subject of Latin in the Teaching Qualification (Grammar Schools). b.) Target group minor subject Prerequisite is the completion of the B.A. degree with Latin Philology as first minor subject in the Giessen BA degree course History and Cultural Studies, in the Giessen BA degree course in Ancient Cultures, or Bachelor degree courses in which Latin Philology is studied with at least 40 CP, or the subject of Latin in the Teaching Qualification (Grammar Schools).

a.) Main subject Degree in the BA major subject Latin Philology in the degree course History and Cultural Studies, in the BA Ancient Cultures, in Bachelor’s degree courses with Latin Philology as a study component of at least 50 CP or Latin as a subject in the degree course Teaching Qualification for Grammar Schools. b.) Minor subject Degree at least in the first BA minor subject Latin Philology in the degree course History and Cultural Studies, in the BA Ancient Cultures, in Bachelor’s degree courses with Latin Philology as a study component of at least 40 CP or Latin as a subject in the degree course Teaching Qualification for Grammar Schools. If there is any doubt regarding the relevance of the competences acquired in the BA, the examination committee shall decide in such cases. An oral examination may be required.
