Tip: In the period from 28 May to 9 July 2014, the General Academic Guidance Service offers the series of lectures "JLU - Jetzt los zur Uni" (JLU -now off to uni) for prospective students and their parents. They can gain information about a wide range of degree courses at the Universität Gießen as well as about the application and admissions procedures, course financing and other topics that are relevant for freshers. After the lectures, there is also always an opportunity to ask questions individually. All the topics and dates can be viewed at www.uni-giessen.de/studium/vortraege. Registration is not necessary. Possible minor subjects include Business Administration/Economics, Public Law, Computer Science, Sociology, Political Sciences, Agricultural Economics, Environmental Management and others on request.
