Target group

a.) Main subject Students with - Competences, which in the 1st or 2nd main subject in Roman Catholic Theology of the History and Cultural Studies Bachelor's degree course, or the SLK Bachelor's degree course, or in the teaching subject Catholic Religion in the study course at the JLU for the Teaching Qualification (Grammar Schools). - Skills that were acquired in Roman Catholic Theology subjects in Bachelor's degree courses or in study courses for the Teaching Qualification for Grammar Schools with at least 70 credit points at a university with the right to award doctorates. b.) Minor subject Students with - Competences, which in the 1. minor or major subject in Roman Catholic Theology of the History and Cultural Studies Bachelor's degree course, or the Language, Literature and Culture Bachelor's degree course, or in the teaching subject Catholic Religion in the study course at the JLU for the Teaching Qualification (Grammar Schools). - Skills that were acquired in Roman Catholic Theology subjects in Bachelor's degree courses worth at least 40 credit points at a university with the right to award doctorates. - If the applicant can only demonstrate skills as part of a 2nd minor subject of the History and Cultural Studies Bachelor's degree course or the Language, Literature and Culture Bachelor's degree course, or competencies in the subjects of Roman Catholic Theology in Bachelor's degree courses at a university with the right to award a PhD amounting to less than 40 CP but at least 30 CP, the missing competences in the Master's program are due to the successful completion of an additional 5 module available through the Master's degree course.

Language requirements: a.) Main subject: Latin and Greek knowledge in accordance with the course requirements of the Bachelor's degree in History and Cultural Studies b.) Minor subject: For this subject knowledge of Latin and Greek is desired. This knowledge can be acquired in accordance with the course requirements of the BA in History and Cultural Studies. The requirement of proof and deadline for proof do not apply.
