Literature and language history/language theory knowledge at the level of a three-year German language and literature or very similar course of study (including Mediaeval Linguistics and Media Science components)\; correspondingly developed methodical and analytical skills with handling texts\; the ability to express oneself well, both orally and in writing, is a prerequisite for an academic examination of the subject's issues.
