The Master's degree course "European Communication Cultures/Italian" is aimed at Bachelor's degree graduates in Romance or Germanic philologies or other Humanities who are interested in literature, language and features of communication with a focus on Italy and would like to pursue in a career in this field.

Admission requirements

Qualification is to be proven by: 1. A first professionally qualifying academic degree from a German or international institution with a component of at least 60 credit points in Philology, History, Communication or Political Sciences or in subjects whose content is comparable with these areas. The Laurea triennale from an Italian university in a humanities subject is recognised as equivalent to the Bachelor's examination. 2. Proof of German and Italian linguistic and language skills to at least level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR); 3. Successful completion of the aptitude procedure in accordance with the aptitude regulations (see aptitude regulations); 4. If, at the time the application, a degree course has not been completed, examination credits amounting to at least 140 credit points must be proven and the completion of a degree course must be proven by the end of the semester following initial enrolment.
