Application deadlines: See the programme website Please take note of the information regarding language proficiency! The degree course is composed of a major subject area (60 credit points for studies plus 30 credit points for the Master thesis), a minor subject (20 credit points) and a practical area (10 credit points through practicals or project assignment). Literary Studies or Linguistics can be chosen as the main area. The minor subject can be chosen from: Cultural Studies, Didactics, Literary Studies and Linguistics. (Major and minor subject may not be identical.)

Admission requirements
First above-average degree obtained in a course comprising at least 6 semesters with an English Studies component of at least 60 credit points or an equivalent qualification. Proof of language proficiency: English to level C1/C2 of the Common European Framework. International applicants: Command of German at level A1 GER.
