Admission requirements

The degree course is primarily aimed at full-time educational professionals in child and youth work (according to Section 11 of the Social Security Code VIII (SGB VIII)), such asstate-recognised childcare workers, as well as professionals with a comparable academic degree. 1. Completed vocational training as a state-recognised childcare workeror comparable educational qualifications. These can be recognised on request in an individual crediting procedure. 2. Qualification for admission to higher education. Alternatively, successfully completed vocational training of at least two years' duration followed by at least three years' full-time professional experience, in each case in a technically related field, or a successfully completed Master Craftsperson's examination, must be demonstrated.
