Are you interested in human experience and behaviour and do you want to deal with it professionally? With the degree course in Psychology (B.Sc.) you lay the foundation for your career in Psychology and Psychotherapy. On your way to a career in psychotherapy, this degree course is the first step. The degree course of psychology also opens up other exciting career opportunities outside of clinical psychology and psychotherapy, e.g. in research, in organisations, companies or social and public institutions. You have job prospects in corporate and personnel consulting, in market and opinion research as well as in psychological consulting, in coaching and in mediation. The course contents are broad and cover psychology both in its fundamental scientific specialisation and with regard to clinical psychology and psychotherapy with its reference sciences. In doing so, the degree course takes into account all requirements of the law on reforming psychotherapist training (PsychThGAusbRefG) as well as the medical practice regulations for psychotherapists (PsychThApprO). With an academic degree in Psychology (B.Sc.) from the Charlotte Fresenius University, you are therefore also qualified for further Master's degree programmes in Psychology and Psychotherapy.
If you want to take up the Bachelor's degree course in Psychology (B.Sc.) at the Charlotte Fresenius University of Applied Sciences, you need a higher education entrance qualification that entitles you to study in the Federal State of Hesse. Because the Charlotte Fresenius University has its headquarters in Wiesbaden and is therefore subject to the Hessian University Law – regardless of where you study at the Charlotte Fresenius University.
