Annotation

The dual degree course in 'Social Work' combines specialist and application-related topics and methods of a generalist basic degree programme in social work with focuses on the following professional fields and activity areas: Supplementary social pedagogical support and supervision in all-day schools (GTS) Special social pedagogical services of the youth welfare offices, the educational support services or voluntary youth social work organisations (KJH).

Admission requirements

Proof of a high school diploma or a subject-specific university entrance qualification or an equivalent foreign university entrance qualification or a professional qualification: Completion of a technical school or a comparable state-recognised further education in the health and social sector or a state-regulated at least two-year vocational training in these occupational fields and a professional activity corresponding to the training qualification in the amount of at least three years or at least 1-year successful completion of a degree in a similar field and employment that is subject to social security contributions in a social field. Another requirement is language proficiency (C1).
