What is Applied Computer Science? For a start, Computer Science including everything that you should know about it programming, databases, web technology, microprocessor engineering, mathematics and so on. In addition, Applied Computer Science focuses on applications of Computer Science. This is because Computer Science graduates frequently work in interdisciplinary teams. They must not only know about Information Engineering, but also understand the areas in which this technology is used. They should also be familiar with the field of application. Possible specialisations at the Environment Campus are in the field of Engineering Sciences in particular.
