Twenty-one months at the Public Administration Academy of Thuringia (VFHS) and 15 months of practical study periods at one of the tax offices of Thuringia (Erfurt, Gera, Gotha, Jena, Mühlhausen, Sondershausen or Suhl). After passing the career examination, you will obtain the academic degree 'Graduate Finance Administrator (FH)'.

Training within the administration. No direct application at the higher education institution. The range of courses is aimed exclusively at civil law applicants for high-level non-technical administrative service and ascension officers from the middle grade of civil service. The course generally requires employment as a civil servant with a revocable appointment.
