Target group
Students with a completed degree in one of the following courses of study: Chemistry, Technical Chemistry or Applied Chemistry with the final award of at least "Bachelor of Science" or "Bachelor of Engineering" or another relevant degree course. The students should have already acquired extensive skills in the field of Chemistry. You should strive to generate and/or develop new ideas, approaches and methods, compounds and materials on a laboratory, technical and production scale and be looking for career opportunities in an industrial or an academic/scientific environment, perhaps with subsequent doctorate.
Admission requirements
Completion of a university degree in Chemistry, Technical Chemistry, Applied Chemistry or another relevant degree course leading to a "Bachelor of Science" or "Bachelor of Engineering". Any degree course is deemed relevant if it teaches skills in the field of Chemistry worth at least 60 ECTS points without taking practical work into account. If the requirements above are not fulfilled in their entirety, admission is only granted by demonstrating the lacking knowledge through successful completion of certain examinations from Bachelor's degree courses for admission to the Master’s thesis. If more than 30 credit points are lacking, admission is not possible. Proof of successful completion of a German language test for admission to higher education (DSH – Level 2), for students who have obtained their higher education entrance qualification at a non-German speaking institution.
