- 3-year completed training: Nursing Specialist - and higher education entrance qualification (one of the three options): Successfully completed (technical) school leaving certificate giving right of entry to higher education (Abitur) OR Successfully completed DKG specialised training OR Professional qualification (completed vocational training followed by 3 years of professional experience) The approval of schools for health professions is the responsibility of the governments of the individual administrative districts in Bavaria. According to the current requirements, training in nursing is strongly recommended.
