The current B.Sc. Psychology of the TU Darmstadt does not meet the legal requirements for the future training of psychotherapists. Students who take up the bachelor's degree in psychology at the TU Darmstadt in the winter semester 2020/21 and, if applicable, graduate here, will therefore not have access to the new psychotherapy master's degree course. Incidentally, the TU Darmstadt does not offer such a course. Thus, the B.Sc. Psychology of the TU Darmstadt excludes the possibility to train as a psychotherapist. Access is also possible with a recognised university of applied sciences entrance qualification.
