We strongly recommend English proficiency at the C1 level! Applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency at level B2 (CEFR). Non-native speakers are required to provide evidence of German language proficiency at level A2 (CEFR). This language level, with a corresponding certificate, can also be obtained within the first two semesters of study.

Admission requirements

Admission to the Master's degree course in Artificial Intelligence can be granted to those who have very good or good knowledge and skills in the field of computer science and/or mathematics, demonstrated by a relevant, practice-oriented, scientifically based qualification. The qualification is demonstrated by a completed certificate of academic degree with 210 credit points according to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS, hereinafter referred to as ECTS credits) and an overall grade of 2.5 or better in the areas of Computer Science, Mathematics or a related degree course at a German university or an equivalent degree. Each qualification must be assessed individually, depending on the educational background of the individual student.
