The Bachelor's degree course in Midwifery is aimed at people who wish to pursue the profession of midwife. The focus is on teaching a solid professionally qualifying and scientific basis in the field of midwifery science.
Admission requirements
Higher education entrance qualification in accordance with Section 10 (1) No. 1a of the Midwifery Act (HebG) in the currently valid version after at least 12 years of school education or a qualification in accordance with Section 10 (1) No. 1b of the Midwifery Act in the currently valid version. Contract for academic midwifery training with University Hospital Gießen and Marburg GmbH (UKGM), a pre-study work placement amounting to 200 hours is strongly recommended
