Annotation

The Bachelor's degree course "Textile Engineering" is an undergraduate engineering course in which engineering and textile technology expertise is taught along the entire textile production chain in an application-oriented way. The textile engineers are experts in technical correlations, basic functions and the structure of machines and systems for manufacturing as well as chemical principles. Process technology for textiles is studied, starting from the fibrous materials to yarn and fabric production to the manufacturing and finishing of textiles.

90% of the available study places are allocated according to the result of a selection procedure, 10% via the waiting period quota. Applicants are selected according to specific criteria in a selection procedure: - Average grade of the higher education entrance qualification (HZB) If candidates have completed their vocational training or practical experience, the average grade of his or her higher education entrance qualification can be improved by a bonus. English language skills of at least at B2 level are required.
