Annotation
The Industrial Design field of study is facing the issues and tasks of a future that will bring major upheavals. Our graduates will shape this future. We prepare strong individuals who can deal with these requirements in a critical, creative and competent manner. This includes the highest level of problem-solving competence and professional handling of our IT tools. With all modernity – we place thought in the foreground. It is strongly linked to the manual and the idea of "understanding". Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ralph Schieschke: "Industry 4.0, interdisciplinarity, intercultural thinking – whatever the slogan, we understand our task in making young people fit for a very demanding future. And even more, to help shape this future in the front row. We offer highly flexible and forward-looking training in a wide range of artistic, scientific and practical study programmes. And we keep an eye on the essentials, the joy of design itself."
