Law + Business Studies = Business Law The degree course of business law is based on the German language and the logical development of problems. Therefore, you are best suited for the degree course of business law if you are interested in both legal and economic issues, can express yourself well in language and possess logical thinking skills. Successful business lawyers show a high level of commitment and initiative, enjoy complex issues, critical thinking and independent argumentation. Interest in foreign languages, especially knowledge of English is a great advantage. Regardless of the industry, size or structure, almost every activity in a company is determined to a large extent by legal issues. However, satisfactory answers to legal questions can only be found if sufficient knowledge of the economic framework is available. The demand for lawyers trained in business administration, i.e. commercial lawyers, is therefore unabatedly high. Graduates of the degree course can enter the workforce fully qualified after seven semesters. However, they can also qualify for management and expert positions through subsequent master's degree courses at universities or colleges in Germany and abroad. The Business School and the Industrial Engineering degree courses at the University of Pforzheim meet the highest international requirements. This is certified by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International), the world's leading accreditation institution. This is considered to be one of the most important awards and is outstanding confirmation at a global level of the quality of higher education in Economics.
