(1)\tOnly those who cumulatively have a first vocational qualification according to § 5 Paragraph 1 No. 1 Teaching Access Ordinance (LZV) of 18 June 2009 letter a), b) or c) can be enrolled in the Master's degree course in 1.\thas the certificate of higher education entrance qualification (general or restricted qualification to a relevant subject) or the certificate of entrance qualification for studies at universities of applied sciences (Fachhochschulreife) or evidence of previous education that is recognised as equivalent by legislation or the responsible state authority, or if he or she fulfils the requirements for applicants who are considered to be qualified as a result of vocational training or those under the regulations on applicants with international educational qualifications. 2.\tTeaching at university of cooperative education: a)\tAccess is granted to those who have a first vocational qualification in the Bachelor's degree in teaching at vocational colleges at the University of Paderborn with the same professional subjects or subjects chosen for the Master's degree. b)\tAnyone who has a first professional qualification in a course of study at a university in North Rhine-Westphalia, a university of Art or Music or at the German Sport University Cologne with a standard period of study of at least 6 semesters and the following elements has access: -\ta study of any subject / professional subject within the desired Master's degree, -\ta degree in Educational Science, -\tan orientation internship within the meaning of section 12 (2) sentence 1 LABG and -\ta professional internship within the meaning of section 12 (2) sentence 2 LABG. c)\tAccess is granted to those who have a first professional qualification from a university, Art, Music or Sports university outside the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, provided there is no significant difference to a degree from one of the universities mentioned in letter b) and the further requirements of letter b) are fulfilled. The examination board makes the determination of the requirements of letters b) and c). 3.\tproof of knowledge of two foreign languages, usually through the university entrance qualification. Applicants with a first language other than English who have gained the qualification for admission to higher education in German must only provide proof of knowledge of one additional language. Further regulation may result from the respective specific conditions for Education Studies and Vocational Educational studies and studies in the vocational subject/specialisation area. 4.\tas an applicant whose qualifications for admission were not acquired at a German-speaking institution, an adequate command of German. For unrestricted admission to or enrolment on all degree courses, the applicant must prove the language ability required for study. Further details are governed by the current version of the German language proficiency test for access to higher education at the University of Paderborn. (2)\tFurther admission requirements may result from the Special Provisions for the Study of Educational Science and Vocational Education and the Study of Teaching Subjects and/or Vocational Specialisations.
