Judicial officers are trained for the states of Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg and Bremen. The course of study is divided into subject study periods at the university of applied sciences and practical study phases at a training court or at a public prosecutor's office. The judicial officer examination represents the completion of the preparatory stage. The HR Nord awards the graduates the Diplom title "Diplom Judicial Officer (university of applied sciences)".

Training within the administration. No direct application at the higher education institution. In order to be able to study at the Norddeutsche Hochschule für Rechtspflege, a trainee place as judicial officer is required. For this, you must apply to the appointment authorities.
