With the Master's degree course in Legal Psychology at the Faculty of Human Science at the MSH Medical School Hamburg, we offer both Bachelor's and Master's graduates the opportunity to gain advanced skills in the field of Psychology. The Master's degree course aims to qualify students for the fields of application of Legal Psychology. Legal psychology is the generic term for forensic psychology as well as for criminal psychology.

With the Master's degree course in Legal Psychology at the Faculty of Human Science (University) at the MSH, we offer both Bachelor's and Master's graduates the opportunity to gain advanced skills in the field of Psychology. On the one hand, the contents of the Master's degree In Psychology with a focus on Legal Psychology mutually complements professional practice along with the Master's course in Psychology with a focus on Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy; on the other hand, it also represents an independent course offering for the expansion of subject-specific skills in the field of Legal Psychology. The Master's degree course aims to qualify students for the field of application of Legal Psychology. Legal Psychology is the generic term for both Forensic Psychology and Criminal Psychology.

The course at MSH Medical School Hamburg is not subject to admission restrictions. Performance, talent, motivation and discipline count more than the grade point average on the certificate. For admission to the Master's degree course in Psychology with a focus on legal psychology, you are required to meet the following entrance and admission requirements: - Qualification for the Master’s degree courses in accordance with Section 39 of Hamburg Act on Higher Education (HmbHG)\; - Successfully completed Bachelor’s degree in Psychology is required. This must be equivalent to the curriculum of the Bachelor’s degree course in Psychology of MSH Medical School Hamburg
