Within the framework of the interprofessional university concept of the MSH, graduates of the degree course in human medicine are not only trained to become highly qualified physicians, but also develop an interdisciplinary understanding of working in multiprofessional teams. The medical training is based on scientific practice and is patient-oriented. The aim is to impart basic medical and methodological knowledge, practical skills, psychological abilities as well as ethical aspects of medicine in an interdisciplinary manner for the best possible independent action in prevention, diagnostics, therapy and rehabilitation. The most current aspects of science and society are taken into account and the readiness for lifelong learning is promoted. The well-being of the patient is the focus of all our actions. Entry into the human medicine degree at the end of the first/pre-clinical stage of study. Students who have successfully passed the first section of the medical examination (Physikum) can apply for the second/clinical section of the State Examination in Human Medicine at MSH.
