The Master's in Media Design aims to educate future managers who need to have appropriate skills in dealing with the aforementioned media associations. No university in Schleswig-Holstein offers adequate study programmes in the field of media design. In order to be able to develop contemporary media products tailored to the needs of local companies, the Master's therefore strives for practice-oriented teaching. With this versatile, theoretically sound and practice-oriented education, graduates will be able to play a central role in creating complex media applications. They will know the market, the usage habits of the respective target groups, survey the existing abundance of modern media, be able to anticipate and weight their development, as well as structure specific contents in this regard. With the skills taught in the programme, you will be fully prepared for the manifold requirements of a challenging activity in a managerial position. With the in-depth knowledge and acquired theoretical, methodical and social competences and skills, many fields of activity will open up for you: - Media production companies (TV, radio, print) - Multimedia agencies - Advertising agencies - Publishers - PR and marketing departments of medium-sized companies - Applied research

Certificate of a completed first professionally qualifying media-oriented university degree with a minimum grade of 2.0 (good), in which the basic contents of media and communication science as well as media production were central subjects, or a certificate with at least a grade of 2.0 ( good) in a completed first professionally qualifying, technically closely related, media-oriented degree programme, which focused on media and communication science issues.
