Target group
The MBA in General Management is aimed at the middle and top management levels and at the junior managers of small to medium-sized enterprises and at the middle and junior management levels of major companies. It is primarily intended for people who have no first degree in Economics and wish to take on or have already taken on management tasks and have several years of professional experience.
Annotation
The MBA "General Management" aims to qualify students comprehensively, specifically and practically for management tasks, whereby in addition to business administration expertise, the focus is also on personality development with the areas of methodological competence (e.g. structuring of decision-making processes, presentation and moderation techniques, communication), social competence (management and leadership) and responsible management. The even stronger integration of our values philosophy (“WertE-Philosophie”) in the degree course is due to the fundamental transformation of economic processes through digitalisation, artificial intelligence and the profound changes in value creation.
Admission requirements
Admission to the Master's degree course in General Management requires a first professionally qualifying degree from a university in Germany (usually a Bachelor's degree) or a degree recognised as equivalent from Germany or abroad. Applicants who obtained their certificate of academic degree at a non-German-speaking university must provide evidence of sufficient German proficiency. At least one year of professional experience after completion of the course that qualifies for admission to this course is also required.
