Applications are submitted via the dialogue-oriented Service Process. This requires a registration at hochschulstart.de as well as a further registration and application at the University of Heidelberg. The University of Heidelberg takes into account the aptitude test STAV-Psych (student selection procedure for Psychology) when allocating places. In Heidelberg, in addition to the grade in the school leaving certificate giving right of entry to higher education (Abitur) (30 points), the STAV-Psych test result (20 points) plays a large part in the allocation of places and increases your chances of admission. For admission to the 2022/23 winter semester, the test will take place on 28 and 29 May 2022. The online registration for participation in the STAV-Psych test starts on 7 January and ends on 14 February 2022. Further information on the selection procedure and registration can be found at: www.stav-psych.de. Prior to the procedure, we recommend that you participate in the online self-assessment OSA-Psych (www.osa-psych.de). This offers, among other things, possibilities for preparing for the STAV psych test.
