Graduates of degree courses with history and related content covering at least 16 hours per week per semester or 30 ECTS.

Annotation

Good reading skills in English are recommended. A computer with Internet access is required for the course.

Admission requirements

In the winter semester 2022/23 – subject to the approval of the Faculty Council – the admission requirements for the MA “History of Europe – Epochs, Upheavals, Links” will change. The following enrolment requirements will then apply: The enrolment requirement for the Master's degree course in History of Europe is a degree completed with good grades from a university covered by the German Higher Education Framework Act (HRG), with a standard period of study of at least six semesters, or a degree course recognised as equivalent by a competent state authority outside the scope of the German Higher Education Framework Act. The degree, but at least the final thesis, must have been completed with a good grade (good=2.49 or better). In addition, the applicant must demonstrate pass/fail courses and graded courses worth 30 ECTS points or 16 semester periods per week in History.
