The degree course is aimed at graduates with a first professionally qualifying degree in Law, i.e. the degree course for the First Law Examination or a Bachelor's degree in Law. In addition, the degree course also appeals to graduates with an affinity for law from other fields of study who want to continue their education in business and labour law and who, in addition to their degree, have already acquired their first professional experience in dealing with business or labour law issues and questions. There are interesting recognition regulations for graduates of the former supplementary degree course in Business and Labour Law at the FernUniversität in Hagen (distance-learning university), which also result in a reduction in fees. Please contact the Student Advice Office.
Admission requirements
Admission to the postgraduate Master's degree course in Business and Labour Law is granted to those who have completed a university degree with a standard period of study of at least six semesters or 180 ECTS. In addition, at least one year of postgraduate professional experience acquired in companies or organisations, including employment in business or labour law matters and issues, must be demonstrated.
