Annotation

"What keeps people healthy?" Health promotion is a field of action of the health sciences and aims to strengthen people’s health resources and to reduce existing burdens. The focus is on the various factors that influence health. In addition to individual lifestyle factors, social, economic and physical environmental conditions are relevant determinants. The Master's degree programme in Applied Health Promotion (AGF) deals with health-related topics on a regional and global level. The system of health care with all participating actors is also examined. Typical questions include: • How must working conditions be designed to keep employees healthy and motivated for decades? • How can assistive technologies (E-Health) be used for health promotion? • How must healthcare be organised to ensure quality-assured care across the board and for all population groups? • How can the health competencies of vulnerable target groups in particular be strengthened? Who is the Master's degree course suitable for? • Are you looking for a Master's degree course with diverse and interdisciplinary content? • Are you interested in dealing with health promotion topics across disciplines in a global and regional context? • Are you interested in digital and assistive technologies in healthcare? • Would you like to further develop your health science profile? • Would you like to strengthen your methodological competence in research and application in the field of health promotion?"
