Annotation
The degree in Real Estate and Facility Management enables you to coordinate and control all processes related to the planning, construction, operation and realisation of real estate in a team. As an expert in the areas of facility management in the planning and construction process, real estate- and property-related services as well as real estate management, you are able to link scientific theories, methods and techniques and successfully transfer and apply them in professional practice while taking into account appropriate action and project steps. From the very beginning, the focus is on the property. In the first semester you will get to know the real estate market and its participants. In addition, the necessary general and subject-related foundations are laid in the first two semesters. In the third and fourth semesters, you will acquire specific facility management skills before the practical component commences in the fifth semester. After this practical phase, you will learn and interact together with students from the Real Estate and Integral Facility Engineering degree course in projects, in-depth compulsory elective and planning-oriented modules, before focusing on your Bachelor's thesis to complete the academic degree programme.
