Annotation

The Master's degree programme in "General Computer Science" is characterised by a high degree of flexibility, broadly defined content and practical project orientation. This flexibility is due mainly to the large pool of compulsory elective modules. And all of this directly in the Rhine-Main metropolis of Frankfurt. The ability to implement market-oriented business process and IT strategies promptly and to provide information relevant to actions from large amounts of data has become a central competitive factor in many industries and requires knowledge workers who work in a project-related and (application-related) research-based manner. In the Frankfurt/Rhine-Main region, this characterisation applies to many (globalised and internationally operating) companies. Equally challenging and mission-critical tasks in business process management and (automated) data acquisition and analysis have to be processed there. The graduates of this Master's degree programme have the knowledge, skills and competences necessary to do this.
