The focus of the course is on applied design and project work, which is accompanied by a large number of elective modules. Students thus have an opportunity to consolidate their knowledge in individually chosen key areas.

Admission requirements

The prerequisite for admission to the course is a professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree in the field of architecture (diploma degree or bachelor's degree with at least 180 ECTS credits) or an at least equivalent academic degree from a foreign university in the field of architecture. The grade of this academic degree must be at least 2.3. The application must be accompanied by a curriculum vitae showing study and work experience up to the date of application and a letter of motivation. In addition, a study portfolio presenting two significant study projects and the Bachelor's thesis of the previous relevant certificate of academic degree must be submitted. In particular, these should provide meaningful information on the services already rendered in the areas of design and construction (by means of plans, drawings, model photos, descriptions), presented on up to a total of eight pages (DIN A3).
