Participation in a preliminary interview is mandatory for applications. With the Bachelor of Arts degree, students acquire the qualification to work in all phases of the HOAI (fee structure for architects and engineers) in architecture and planning offices thus specialised. In addition to the traditional fields of work, there are job opportunities in related areas such as real estate, building management, construction management, project management and project development, visualisation and animation.
Admission requirements
Participation in a preliminary interview is mandatory for applications. A self-organised internship of 13 weeks on a construction site or in a construction firm is required for the course. Proof of completion of the pre-study internship must be provided by registration to the module examinations in the sixth semester at the latest. Employment in architectural or planning offices is not recognised. Proof of completion of the pre-study internship must be provided by registration to the module examinations in the sixth semester (modules K6 and G6) at the latest.
