Police officers in the higher public service of the Land of Brandenburg or, where appropriate, so-called career-changers’ (the Ministry of the Interior and for Local Affairs of the State of Brandenburg decides on their recruitment).

Annotation

No direct enrolment possible at the university. Entry into the career of the senior police service required. The Police Academy in Hamburg is where you will study during the first two semesters. In the last two semesters (2nd \Academic year) the course takes place at the Deutschen Hochschule der Polizei in Münster.

Admission requirements

Career path in the higher intermediate civil service of the Brandenburg Police, higher education entrance qualification or an educational qualification recognised as equivalent, achievement of the first promotion office, probationary period of at least 5 years, advantageous foreign language skills and above-average performance. Suitability for the career in the higher law enforcement service is determined in a selection procedure conducted under the responsibility of the Ministry of the Interior and Local Affairs of the State of Brandenburg.
