Only examinations in accordance with Section 8a WPO or examinations in accordance with Section 13b WPO may be credited towards the Master’s degree program (WPO is the Act on the Code of Professional Practice for German Public Auditors). Examination locations: Berlin, Bremen, Frankfurt a./M., Göttingen, Hamburg, Cologne, Leipzig, Munich, Nuremberg, Stuttgart The entrance examination and the preparatory seminar will take place in Hamburg. The degree course can be studied full-time (24 months) and part-time (32 months). The period of study may be extended by 50% of the respective standard period of study without any further fees.

Admission requirements

An entrance examination is provided, which consists of two three-hour examinations. The entrance examinations cover four areas (Applied Business Administration/Economics; Economic Law; Tax Law and Auditing), whereby questions are usually asked in two areas per examination Academic requirement: - A completed undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Economics or Law (Law or Business Law) with at least 180 credit points. - Evidence of three months of work in accordance with Section 9 (1) of the Auditors’ Code (Wirtschaftsprüferordnung) and three months of auditing experience in accordance with Section 9 (2) of the Auditors’ Code (placement period) after obtaining the first professionally qualifying degree, but prior to commencing the Master's degree course. Foreign language competence, in English: adequate knowledge of English at level B2 as specified by the European Framework of Reference for Languages. The tuition fees are EUR 632.00 per month for the part-time option (32 months) and EUR 810.00 per month for the full-time option (24 months). Participation in the optional preparatory seminar for the entrance examination attracts a fee of 280.00. The cost of the entrance examination EUR 180.00.
