Admission requirements

The requirement for admission to the Bachelor's degree course in Artistic Instrumental Education and Conducting is proof of the higher education entrance qualification (Abitur (school leaving certificate giving right of entry to higher education)) in accordance with Section 54 (2) of the Hessian Higher Education Act (Hessisches Hochschulgesetz) of 14 December 2009 in the version of 21 December 2010. A missing higher education entrance qualification can be replaced by an outstanding artistic talent (at least 19 out of a possible 25 points in the aptitude test) according to Art. 54 Abs. 4 Satz 3 HHG. Sufficient oral and written command of German is required for admission to the Bachelor's degree course in Artistic Instrumental Education and Conducting. Admission is subject to the successful completion of an aptitude test.
