An integrated component of the academic studies is a year abroad which is completed at one of more than 160 partner universities across the world. The compulsory practical semester can also be completed abroad. The programme has been accredited by EPAS (EFMD).

- Proof of a very good command of English (level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) - for applicants with German as their native language or with German HZB: Proof of knowledge of a second language: French or Spanish (Level B1) - for foreign students: Proof (level A2) of basic knowledge in German
