Behavioural Therapy

Target group

Graduates in psychology who would like to complete training for a licence to practice as a behavioural therapist, who are interested in acquiring both professional experience and working on scientific research and who would like to make their own academic contribution with a (possibly second) Master’s thesis (MSc in Psychotherapy), or who would like to complete a doctorate, perhaps in cooperation with another university.

At the PHB (Berlin Psychological University), the training to obtain a licence to practise behavioural therapy is integrated, as part of a unique model, into a postgraduate Master's degree course (MSc) in Behavioural Therapy. This model is particularly suitable for prospective psychotherapists who want to be trained according to the current state of knowledge and research and who want to pursue their own scientific interests. The admission requirement is a Master's or Diploma degree in psychology.
