Annotation

The Master's degree programme can be completed with either the Master of Arts, (M.A.) or Master of Education (M.Ed.). The main focus of the programme is the acquisition of basic scientific methods and the gradual development and implementation of research projects. In addition to the development of traditional approaches in Education Science, there is also a particular focus on the theories and methods of reform and Waldorf pedagogy and their critical reflection. This degree programme qualifies students for professional activities in the management, counselling, evaluation and responsible further development of educational institutions and programmes, in quality management, but also for lecturing activities. Admission requirements

Requirement for admission is a completed university degree (Bachelor's, Diplom or Magister degree, state examination). Candidates who wish to become subject or upper secondary school teachers must have completed at least one course of study in a subject relevant to teaching Candidates who choose to specialise in educational practice research should work in a pedagogical professional field (school, kindergarten, social institutions, youth welfare, etc.).
