Annotation

The financial market faces numerous regulations and increasing demands. Companies must make complex financing and investment decisions in an ever faster industry. They need experts who are able to develop sustainable financial strategies. A Bachelor in Finance and Accounting prepares you for these challenges and for an international business career. The Finance and Accounting degree programme is divided into three sections, which will take you to your academic degree. The first step is to acquire sound basic knowledge. Basics of business, marketing strategies, personnel management, economic system or statistics are as much on the curriculum as work and presentation techniques. Subsequently, the knowledge acquired in further modules will be consolidated with regard to the financial sector. Accounting, tax theory and project management are important building blocks for your career. In order to be able to act on the international financial market, subject-specific English is part of your studies. In the third part, you will focus on value added tax as well as performance and risk analysis. You can apply and test your skills in a business simulation game. By the way: as a student of this distance learning course, you will be able to participate in a three-week study session in Sacramento: the California Campus Program! Within the framework of the AKAD-study model, you decide yourself – depending on learning type, level of knowledge or interest – whether you participate in the additional seminars of your course of study at the AKAD University in Stuttgart or not.
