The degree course "Applied Biology – Food and Pharma" focuses on modern methods of biology and enables a holistic understanding of individual health with a strongly application-oriented focus in the fields of medicines and food as well as nutrition. The extremely versatile degree course combines various fields of natural science in a unique way, complemented by economic fundamentals and quality management. In the main study stage, the degree course can be adapted to personal interests by means of required elective courses. The study conditions are characterised by a personal atmosphere, varied teaching methods and modern equipment. Through a close link between science and practice, the course paves the way for a successful career in applied research, development, analysis or quality assurance in the pharmaceutical and food industry or related areas of life sciences.
