Important: Last enrolment for winter semester 2022/23! From the winter semester 2023/24 onwards, the subject will be offered as part of the major and minor subjects in the combination Bachelor’s degree: On the one hand, the programme focuses on the acquisition of linguistic knowledge that enables you to analyse language and communication in a wide range of areas and contexts. On the other hand, the degree programme offers a wide range of opportunities to improve your foreign language skills. Take advantage of the wide scope for specialisation and set a linguistic and cultural accent during your studies with a view to your future field of activity. In addition to linguistic specialist knowledge, language technology qualifications and foreign language skills, the non-linguistic elective area provides you with specific key qualifications oriented to the professional field, e.g. from business administration, education, political science or history.
