Admission requirements
If the applicant has a Bachelor's degree with 180 ECTS, at least one year of professional, subject-relevant experience can be recognised after the degree is completed. (1) First professionally qualifying degree (Bachelor's, Master's, Magister, Diplom, etc.) which was completed at a higher education institution recognised by the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs in the anabin database or in one of the study programmes recognised in the anabin database, or equivalent degree - amounting to either: 180 ECTS or a 3-year degree course and at least 1 year of professional practical experience relevant to the subject area after the degree - or at least 210 ECTS and a 4-year study programme (standard period of study). (2) Additional course-specific aptitude: good command of the course language English in written and spoken form. This can be proven, e.g. by the successful completion of an English-speaking degree course, at least one year of (professional) experience in an English-speaking country or by recognised language tests. A minimum of 60 points in the internet-based TOEFL test (iBT) must be obtained or the equivalent in other relevant language tests.
