Overview and admission
Summer and Winter Semester
Area of studyCivil Engineering
The master's degree enables graduates of the bachelor’s degrees in Building Physics and Climate Engineering and the bachelor’s degree in Energy and Building Technology, Timber Construction and Interior Design to continue their studies. The master's degree in Building Physics is also aimed at natural sciences and engineering graduates, and especially civil engineering graduates.
The new master's degree in Building Physics is a cooperative degree between the degrees in Building Physics and Climate Engineering at Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences (HFT) in external cooperation with the degrees in Energy and Building Technology, Timber Construction and Interior Design at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences (THRo).
The courses are offered in equal parts by the universities of applied sciences Stuttgart and Rosenheim and held at both sites. The lecture part changes in the first two semesters between HFT (winter semester) and HSRo (summer semester). In order to allow students to start the course at any time, the individual modules are self-contained and do not build on each other. Depending on the subject matter, the master’s thesis can be written at the HFT, the HSRo or externally.
