Annotation

Computer Science is a modern, rapidly developing science with excellent career prospects in exciting fields of activity. During your studies, taking into account the requirements and changes in the professional world, you will be taught the necessary specialist knowledge, skills and methods of Computer Science, which will enable you to act independently in practice. Above all, these are: - Acquisition, analysis and concrete implementation of problems from different areas of application with the help of information processing systems. - Construction of complex systems for information processing and becoming confident in their application with the help of methods such as formalisation, modelling and simulation. - Design and application of systems for the transfer of information with the help of local and national computer networks. - Taking up and helping to shape new developments, as well as working with representatives of other disciplines. In addition to acquiring this knowledge and practising these skills in the most important sub-areas of Computer Science, you will receive a sound knowledge of Mathematics as well as a minor. In addition, you will be taught a high degree of teamwork and willingness to communicate during your studies. As a graduate of the B.Sc. Computer Science gives you the opportunity, among other things, to further qualify in a subsequent Master's degree course or in an industrial "training on the job".
