* Prerequisite for admission or continuation of the study course is a first professionally qualifying university degree with a standard study period of at least 6 semesters at a technical, engineering or predominantly engineering degree from the Chemistry discipline or related fields with an overall mark of basically at least 'gut' (2.5). * Prospective students must also provide proof of command of English at the level required for admission as mentioned in paragraph 1. Required is proof of the B2 level of the European Framework of Reference, for example passing the TOEIC test with an assessment of at least 620 points, or by passing the TOEFL test with an assessment of at least 87 points (Internet based) or 567 points (paper based) or an equivalent certificate. * In the case of prospective students who acquired the relevant Bachelor's degree in the Department of Industrial Chemistry at the Münster University of Applied Sciences or who have acquired it from an English-language institution of higher education or who can prove English is their mother tongue need not provide any proof in accordance with paragraph 2. In all other cases, the examination board takes a decision on the submitted request by the applicant.
