This Master's program is primarily aimed at graduates of Bachelor's courses in Computer Science and Business Computer Science, as well as in Electrical Engineering. You will be prepared to competently, autonomously and independently perform demanding and innovative functions in projects, in software development and consulting and in the sales of companies as well as the public sector or to further qualify in research.

Admission requirements

The Master programme is designed consecutively. Only those who successfully pass the Bachelor's examination in a Bachelor's degree programme in Computer Science or a related field of study (for example Media Informatics, Electrical Engineering) with a standard duration of at least 6 semesters or at least 180 ECTS and those who have achieved an overall grade of at least 2.5 in this Bachelor's examination can be admitted to the Masters course. In exceptional cases, applicants with an overall grade lower than 2.5 and better than 2.8 may also be admitted. The Examination Committee decides on their admission on the basis of a letter of motivation and evidence of relevant professional practice of at least two years after the first degree. Proof of professional practice must be provided, e.g. by means of a qualified reference and/or a portfolio of work samples.
