Target group

Based on your degree, you, with a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or other relevant engineering studies (e.g., Material and Product Development (MAP), mechatronics, Process Engineering, Production Technology, Automotive Engineering, etc.) will demonstrate the four-semester Master's degree in general Mechanical Engineering with the aim of deepening your knowledge as an engineer and broadening your problem-solving skills.

Annotation

In the Master's degree course in General Mechanical Engineering, you will deepen the specialist knowledge and methodological competence gained in the mechanical engineering degree courses in Faculty 2 in the above-mentioned specialisations and, as part of the projects, have the opportunity to participate in the associated research activities and development tasks. With regard to your career entry and the assumption of management responsibility, the Master's degree course contains a seminar on team coaching and a Management Systems module.

Admission requirements: - a first qualifying certificate of academic degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product Development and Technical Design, Mechatronics, Process Engineering, Production Engineering, Automotive Engineering or comparable Mechanical Engineering degree courses with a standard period of study of at least six semesters or with an overall grade of better than 2.5 and 180 ECTS. -a letter of motivation with curriculum vitae A selection interview is possible for applicants with an overall grade of worse than 2.5 and better than 2.8.
