a) Proof of adequate proficiency in Latin. Knowledge of Latin is necessary to study Egyptology as a minor subject. Such knowledge should have been acquired before commencing studies. However, it must be proven by no later than the interview to determine the topic of the MA thesis. Proof is required in the form of a school certificate confirming at least three years of Latin tuition. b) Proof of adequate proficiency in English. Knowledge of English is necessary to study Egyptology as a minor subject. This proficiency should have been acquired before commencing studies. However, it must be proven by no later than the interview to determine the topic of the MA thesis. Proof is established by means of an internal subject-related examination. c) Proof of adequate knowledge of French. Knowledge of French is necessary to study Egyptology as a minor subject. This proficiency should have been acquired before commencing studies. However, it must be proven by no later than the interview to determine the topic of the MA thesis. Proof is established by means of an internal subject-related examination.
