The following qualifications are required for studying Human Medicine: - General higher education entrance qualification - General entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences in connection with one of the Professional training: - General entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences obtained via a specialised secondary school in the subject of Health (NOT Health and Social Studies!) - General entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences obtained via a specialised secondary school in the subject of Health and Social Studies, focus on Health Care - Admission examination for medicine - Previous vocational training consisting of three years of vocational training and three years of professional experience in the following professions: Healthcare and Nursing Healthcare and Paediatric Nursing Midwifery Medical assistants Medical-technical laboratory assistants Medical-technical radiology assistants Medical-technical assistants for functional diagnostics TMS test for the application for admission to the first semester The Test for Medical Studies (TMS) is a subject-specific ability test that, in addition to the final grade from secondary school, has a high degree of predictability regarding success in medical study programmes. This test is not binding, but is recommended prior to submitting an application.
